Knight cigar ashtray marked "Goberg" Good original patinated Iron figure of knight in armour with sword & shield, matchbox holder to front of ashtray. Hugo Berger (Goberg) started in Schmalkalden Germany in 1895 his first metal factory, where his decorative ironwork was manufactured Goberg's works use iron and brass and was part of the Arts & Crafts movement In the early 20th century Liberty sold his works. H: 33cm - 13ins tall.
