An Historically Important and exceptional 19th Century German Imperial Damascus Honor Sword, the highly ornate & gilded decorated blade stamped by ECHT-DAMAST and makers A.Werth in Solingen with inscribed "The Officers Corps of the Hussars Regiment No7 of the King. To the Heir Prince to Bentheim as a friendly memory", with the Grand Cross of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. Inscribed Germany: Das Offiziercorps des Königs = Husaren = Regiments N7. Dem Erbprinzen zu Bentheim, zur freundlichen Erinnerung. Blade length is 88.5 cm. Overall length is 103.5 cm.
