A German Forestry Service Cutlass, 37cm blade by WKC Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie .// (Solingen). The company was founded in 1883. Etched with scrolling foliage and hunting scenes, regulation brass hilt with two-piece ivory grips retained by three brass rivets on either side, in its brass mounted black leather scabbard.
